In 2014 she made her one-woman debut during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, in So What if I Dance. Most notably Chipo Kureya was a part of the Original cast of the critically acclaimed Harry Potter and the Cursed Child where she played roles including Moaning Myrtle and Rose Granger- Weasley.As well as the above she has also been involved with a handful of creative ventures including writing and devising her own work. Joe Njagu is a Zimbabwean filmmaker who directed his debut feature film Lobola in 2010, which paved the way for a new chapter of independent film-making in Zimbabwe. His next feature film, The Gentleman, won him Best Foreign Language Director at the America International Film Festival and Best Film at the NAMA awards in 2012. He has directed several other feature films, including Something Nice from London, Escape, Tete B and The Letter. Joe has also produced the multi award winning film Cook Off - the first Zimbabwean film to be acquired by Netflix. Joe is a YALI alumni and a Mandela Washington Fellow, the flagship program of President Barack Obama's Young African Leadership Initiative. In 2014, he was listed among the top 35 under 35 in Media in Africa by the non-profit Young Professionals in International Affairs. Gideon Jeph Wabvuta is a Zimbabwean writer, solo actor and teaching artist based in Los Angeles. He is a 2019 graduate of the University of Southern California MFA Dramatic Writing program. His work as a writer includes Family Riots, Master’s Shoe, and his solo show Mbare Dreams amongst others. He has taught writing in the US, UK, South Africa, Zimbabwe and many others. His work in theater has also included stints as a program’s director and a literary manager. He also works as a consultant, and researcher for tv shows in development. PART 2. LISTEN TO PART 1 FIRSTSibongile Mlambo is a Zimbabwean actress based in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Sibongile’s passion for the arts was ignited after being cast in the Jury Prize winning international feature, Kini & Adams. She went on to feature in local commercials and expanded into dancing and modeling, eventually becoming the face of one of Nivea’s biggest African campaigns, with billboards and ads across the continent. After high school, Sibongile moved to the United States to study Foreign Languages & Literatures at Southern Methodist University. She speaks English, Shona, French, Spanish, and basic Zulu & Xhosa. Upon graduating, she moved to New York to pursue a dance career and eventually moved back to Zimbabwe, ending up in Cape Town, South Africa, where she spent several years building her acting career before moving to Los Angeles. Her TV credits include Lovecraft Country (HBO), God Friended Me (CBS), Lost In Space (Netflix), Siren (Freeform), Dark/Web (Amazon), Macgyver (CBS), Teen Wolf (MTV) & Black Sails (Starz).Her film credits include Message From The King with the late Chadwick Boseman, Under the Silver Lake with Andrew Garfield & Riley Keough, The Last Face directed by Sean Penn with Charlize Theron & Javier Bardem and as the fiery dancer, Ishani in Universal's Honey 3.
